The mint section was way too boring.
Big Sky Brands started with a simple idea: the mint section was sooooo boring!
Back in 1999, two lifelong friends decided the world needed mints and candy with a lot more flavor and a lot more personality. So instead of making the same old peppermints we started creating bold, unexpected flavors inspired by roadside candy shops, summer fairs, and flavors discovered from around the globe.
We do things our own way.
Turns out people were ready for something different as we have grown into North America's leading mint company, producing an ever-expanding lineup enjoyed worldwide.
Today, Big Sky Brands is known for doing things our own way. We make collectible tins packed with flavors ranging from peppermint to rocket pop and dozens of other deliciously unconventional creations. Some are nostalgic, some are weird, some are surprisingly addictive — and all (we hope) are delicious.
Our line features naturally flavored, gluten free, kosher certified mints and candy as well as many sugarfree options. We proudly manufacture in Toronto and continue to operate with the same entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on creativity that got us started way back in 1999.
At the end of the day, we're just a bunch of flavor fanatics making the kinds of mints and candy we love. If one of our tins makes you laugh, surprises you, sparks a memory or simply tastes ridiculously good, then we're doing our job!
